What We Believe
We are a Southern Baptist Church that
believes the Bible to have been written by men divinely inspired and
that is it an infallible, inerrant revelation from God to men. We
believe there is one and only one God that reveals himself as God the
Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.; thereby expressing Himself
as an all-powerful, all-knowing Trinity. We believe that
man is inherently sinful and that Christ died for our sins...if
we will accept Him as Savior and Lord of our life. We will be recorded
in the Lamb’s Book of Life
as the final judgment. We believe the Church is called to bring the lost
to Christ and His salvation by the dissemination of the Gospel and the
exercise of the corporate gifts granted members of the Body of
Christ (the Church). We operate under the Lordship of Christ and
are accountable to Him for individual and corporate actions. We observe,
as Baptists, two ordinances given to the Church by Christ himself:
Believers baptism and the Lord’s Supper. Both are seen as symbolic acts
of obedience to the cause of and memory of Jesus the Christ.
